Questions we get frequently asked
What do antioxidants do in skincare?
Antioxidants help mop up free radicals, reducing signs of ageing from uneven texture and colour, skin deterioration and sun spots. They are also thought to improve hydration and moisture retention. Their activity involves preventing the process of oxidation, to avoid the breakdown of collagen whilst limiting inflammation
Why is Elderberry Seed Oil good for skin?
Elderberries have more anthocyanins than other blue fruits and double the overall antioxidant capability. Clinical studies have also shown that Elderberry seed oil provides excellent natural hydration; making skin smooth and flexible whilst improving skin barrier function by reducing trans-epidermal water loss.
Why is Blackcurrant Seed Oil good for skin?
Blackcurrant Seed Oil is rich in Omega 6 and Omega 3 essential fatty acids which help to keep the skin hydrated, firmer, and younger looking. Human skin studies have demonstrated that Blackcurrant seed oil improves skin barrier function through a reduction in transdermal water loss. It also helps reduce skin redness, improve smoothness, firmness and elasticity.
